Doctor of Chiropractic | Certified Sports Medicine Specialist | Functional Medicine Practitioner
I’m Dr. Brad Barez, and I’ve dedicated over 30 years to helping people live healthier lives through chiropractic care, sports medicine, and functional health. As a lifelong South Bay resident and a graduate of the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, I feel honored to care for the same community where I was born and raised.
As a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner and Certified Sports Medicine Therapist, I’ve worked with Olympic athletes, national teams, and local patients to support recovery, improve performance, and prevent injury through hands-on, personalized care.
With advanced certification in functional medicine, I integrate regenerative therapies with a whole-body approach that includes nutrition, gut health, detox support, and customized wellness plans. My focus is always on identifying the root cause of pain and guiding each patient toward lasting healing.
I was born in Palos Verdes and continue to live in the South Bay with my family. Outside the clinic, I enjoy time with my two children, as well as soccer, water sports, hiking, golf, and fishing.
My mission is to help you feel better, move better, and achieve your full potential through natural, results-driven care.
Board-Certified Dermatologist
I’m Dr. Courtney Phillips, a board-certified dermatologist with extensive training in general, pediatric, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology.
I earned my medical degree and completed my dermatology residency at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine, where I was honored with the Madeline Boccuzzi Award for excellence in dermatology and served as Chief Resident in my final year.
As a resident of the South Bay, I love the beach lifestyle and stay active in the local community. When I’m not caring for patients, I enjoy running, boxing, lifting, and immersing myself in the world of health and longevity.
Physician Assistant | Functional and Regenerative Medicine Specialist
I’m Deanne Newton, a Physician Assistant with over 25 years of experience combining conventional medicine with functional and nutritional approaches to care. My career began in orthopedics, where I specialized in total hip and knee replacements and gained hands-on experience in joint injections. I later transitioned to dermatology, where I refined my injection techniques through both cosmetic and surgical procedures and first discovered the regenerative potential of PRP therapy.
After 15 years in traditional medicine, I felt called to shift my focus toward identifying root causes and treating the whole person. That journey led me to functional medicine and a more integrative, patient-centered approach.
My own recovery from a shoulder injury reinforced my belief in the power of regenerative care. Experiencing the combined benefits of PRP and chiropractic treatment firsthand deepened my commitment to helping others heal naturally.
Originally from Georgia, I’ve called Redondo Beach home for the past two decades. Outside of work, I stay active through biking, ocean swimming, and paddle-boarding.
My goal is to help each patient not only recover but rediscover their strength, restore energy, and reconnect with the joy of moving through life with confidence.
Physiotherapy Specialist | Patient Care Coordinator
My name is Casey Warren. I was born and raised in Torrance and have been both a long-time patient and team member at Back to Healthcare Chiropractic. With six years of experience in physiotherapy and a background in nutrition, it’s been a privilege to support our patient family here in the South Bay—helping people feel better, move better, and live to their God-given potential.
As a Physiotherapy Specialist and Patient Care Coordinator, I have the opportunity to guide patients through their recovery and connect them with the care and support they need. After witnessing and experiencing firsthand the body’s innate ability to heal, I’m honored to be part of our regenerative medicine team. We’re building a space where healing, movement, and wellness come together under one roof.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy ministering to others, going on adventures with my dog Polly, and playing the occasional game of pool.
To God be the glory.
